AleSmith is a microbrewery in San Diego, CA that was established in 1995. They produce handcrafted, natural, unpasteruized ales with no artificial additives or preservatives added to any of the beers. The creative minds that run AleSmith are Peter Zien, homebrewer and grand master beer judge; Tod Fitzsimmons, brewer; Bill Batten, award-winning homebrewer; and Matt Akin, brewer and bottler. Peter Zien is San Diego County's only certified level one beer judge, and he has earned over 400 awards for his beers. AleSmith makes their beer all-natural, unpasteurized, and handcrafted with premium domestic and imported hops and malts. If you would like to visit the AleSmith Brewery for a tour or to give their beer a try, their hours are only on Fridays from 3-5 p.m. or Saturdays from 1-4 p.m., so plan ahead.

- Nautical Nut Brown (English style ale with chocolate malt flavors) 5% ABV
- Lil' Devil Ale (smooth malt flavors with a hint of orange hops) 5.5% ABV
- Horny Devil (Belgian strong ale with a citrus flavor) 11% ABV
- Grand CRU (Belgian style with sweet to tangy flavors) 10.5% ABV
- Old Numbskull (West Coast barleywine that has hints of caramel) 11% ABV
- Wee Heavy (Scotch ale with sweet and malty flavors) 10% ABV
- Speedway Stout (coffee, dark chocolate, and caramel flavors) 12% ABV

- Evil Dead Red: available during October (rich, malty flavors with a medium hoppy bitterness) 6.66% ABV
- My Bloody Valentine: available during February (sweet, caramel malty flavors-cousin to Evil Dead Red) 6.66% ABV
- Yulesmith Holiday Summer Ale: available around 4th of July (hoppy double IPA) 9.5% ABV
- Yulesmith Holiday Winter Ale: available during the Christmas season (Imperial Red Ale) 9.5% ABV
- Decadence Anniversary Ale (available each year around their anniversary date in late fall) (English style Old Ale with a lot of malt flavors) 11% ABV
