Ommegang Abbey Ale![]() Brewery: Brewery Ommegang Type: Ale - Belgian Abbey Ale % ABV: 8.5 Reviewer: Chell Score: 6
Appearance The beer pours a clear reddish brown color with a nice head which fades with a little lacing. Aroma Smells like a roasted caramel, maybe a bit of nuts and spices thrown in. Mouthfeel There is a fair amount of carbonation, but overall fits the beer nicely. Taste The beer is fairly sweet and has a mild fruity taste to it. Its ends with a nice bitter finish. Additional Comments Not a bad beer to try but not something I would be drinking several of in a row. I enjoyed the pint but by the end was ready to move on to the next beer.
