Appearance

The beer pours a very dark amber red color. It appears somewhat cloudy with a small off white head which lasts and then leaves with good lacing.

Aroma

There is not a whole lot coming off this beer. Perhaps some malts and mild hops but not much else.

Mouthfeel

This ale has very little carbonation leaving the beer feeling kind of heavy in the mouth.

Taste

The taste starts off pretty smooth, and full and then tends towards a much more bitter ending.

Additional Comments

To be honest this wasn't one of my favorite beers. If you like a stronger red ale then you might like this one but it was lacking something for me.
