Appearance

Widmer Hefeweizen pours a cloudy unfiltered yellow color with a good 2 finger head with some real nice lacing.

Aroma

The ale has citrus and lemon scents with hints of hops in the background.

Mouthfeel

There is a very clean and crisp feel with moderate amounts of carbonation. Its full but not overly thick.

Taste

This beer has a very smooth citrus taste complimented by the flavors coming out of the frothy head. Its not overly bitter or sweet and is a very good mix of flavors without any noticeable aftertaste.

Additional Comments

This is a very drinkable beer. Nothing too filling about it allows for several on a warm summer day.
