Appearance

This barley wine pours a nice golden amber color, slightly cloudy. There is a small head with some nice lacing.

Aroma

The aroma are of sweet malts and lots of them. There are some mixtures of caramel, spices, and fruits as well.

Mouthfeel

Moderate amount of carbonation upfront in this medium to light bodied beer.

Taste

There is a complex combination of sweet malts mixed in with mild hop flavors and caramel. It all balances out nicely without a dominant flavor taking over the beer.

Additional Comments

This is one of my favorite barley wines. Very good balance makes this very drinkable.
