Shock Top Belgian White

Shock Top Belgian White

Brewery: Anheuser-Busch

Type: Ale - White Beer

% ABV: 5.2

Reviewer: Chell

Score: 9

Appearance

This beer pours a very cloudy unfiltered golden color. There was a nice head when mixed as per the directions and poured in. It fades quickly without much lacing.

Aroma

The beer is dominated by fruit aromas, mostly orange. Slight amount of spices mixed in.

Mouthfeel

Nice crisp taste, good amount of carbonation fills it out.

Taste

Tastes very light and smooth with no bitterness or aftertaste. Lots of orange flavors make it go down easy and be very drinkable on a summer afternoon. Not the most flavorful white beer available but very refreshing.

Additional Comments

Be sure to follow their instructions to pour down to about a half inch into a pint glass and then roll the bottle around a little to completely mix whats left before finishing the pour. This helps to produce a very nice citrus flavored head.
