Appearance

The beer pours a redish purple color. There is a faint pinkish head which disappears quickly with no lacing.

Aroma

The aroma is heavily scented with cherries, almost like cough syrup. There are hints of vanilla hiding in the back.

Mouthfeel

This is a medium beer to heavy sour tang which lasts.

Taste

It starts off very sour with a heavy cherry flavor, but then ends a little dry. It is quite fruity and it is hard to get past the cherry flavor to taste any malts or hops.

Additional Comments

The beer was served with a piece of chocolate which added some nice flavors to the mix. While one was OK, this is not a beer I would drink more than one of per sitting.
